As a Broker in Charge at Acorn + Oak, you are accountable for broker support and managing your branch health.Your branch is run as you see fit as long as you are meeting branch goals and serving the Brokers as a Servant Leader and exuding our company’s Core Values in every interaction you have whether it be internally or externally.You are a leader of our organization.
You are an educator, a mentor, a coach and also the decision maker when it comes to hiring and terminating Brokers.Your motto should be “Support by Empowerment”.This means educating and shepherding them but not doing the work for them--teach them to fish, do not fish for them.

Management Duties:
Assist Recruiting with interviewing and hiring/onboarding qualified Brokers that will represent A+O well.
Hold Brokers accountable to goals and processes their Broker contract including terminating and offboarding when applicable.
Monthly broker check ins and evaluations
Accountable for overseeing Broker Scorecards and communicating breaches of contract and/or brand standards
Goal tracking for each broker to include success and complaints.
Member of Real Estate Committees in the areas our communities reside.
Hold monthly mentor meetings as needed.
Accountable for overseeing, selecting and advising Acorn + Oak Broker Coaches
Liaison between Broker Advisory Committee and Leadership
Accountable for branch growth goals and objectives
Compliance:
Responsible for Branch compliance
Consult Attorney in areas where legal liability could be an issue
Assist and, at times, take the lead on lawsuits brought against the branch
Ensure Broker License Compliance
NCREC (CE and Elective Hours, License and Renewal Fees, Broker Firm Affiliations and Un-Affiliations)
TMLS Compliance
In good standing with Code of Ethics and Realtor Associations
Broker Support:
Coach, mentor and support the Brokers
Respond to Broker requests within 1 business day or 24 hours.
1 on 1 meetings with brokers to help with development and assist with gaps in execution of contractual obligations.
Communicate with the Brokers regularly through weekly newsletters and informational publications
Create content for and lead Monthly broker meetings as well as the annual State of The Acorn meeting
Support and attend Evictions when needed.
Tenant and Client Support:
Respond to Questions and Complaints within 24 hours of arrival.Goal is same day correspondence.
Ensure that resolutions are both fair to the client and the company.
Consult in owner and tenant and vendor related complaints and issues
Manage property reassignments
Conduct New Owner Check ins as well as periodical client and customer surveys
Technology:

Review Survey Responses and compose appropriate feedback to included parties.
Audit Delinquency Report and communicate with affected parties for resolution.
Audit Security Deposit Report and communicate with affected parties for resolution.
Maintain proper accuracy to the intention of files.
Monthly accuracy checks on broker documents.
Google Drive
Maintain document integrity and confidentiality.
Monthly checks to ensure broker documents are uploaded and updated correctly.
Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven, multi-priority environment; exhibit consistent usage of effective time management skills and appropriate resource management; communicates interferences and delays to supervisor.
Provides others with timely and organized information; provides clear directions, shares responsibility and accountability; includes and consults with appropriate individuals as needed.
