8 Awe-Inspiring Logo Designers:
Logos are the ‘face’ of a company, brand or site, they are the symbol of a business or an idea. In this post I will highlight some logos from 8 great designers who have personally inspired me:
Fabio Sasso is Abduzeedo’s founder and is a very talented graphic designer that besides his Photoshop tutorials and web projects also enjoys to work with typography and logo creation. You can view two of his logos below, and the process that he used to create them by clicking each image.
David Airey is a great graphic designer and blogger from Bangor/Northern Ireland now based in Edinburg/Scotland that has lots of talent to create identity images and has also a very interesting design process. He starts with the logo design brief, then he does the logo brainstorming to get his first logo options to show to the client. After that he shows the logo to the client, check out their feedback and then finish the identity. At his portfolio you can find all the design process for his logos, so check it out by the logo’s links below.
David Pache is a great designer that found the creative studio Dache to promote his visual work and also to focus on logo design, corporate and brand identity. Dache’s philosophy is all about creative and dynamic out-of-the-box thinking. Check out the logo concept explanation at the logo links below.
Bojan is a designer from Belgrade/Serbia who is all about logo and corporate identity creation.
DeAndre Hutton – D&Dre Creative
DeAndre, as his website words, is a graphic communicator based in Texas focused on good communication and letting his work communicate itself.
Pawel Tomas is a designer from Warsaw/Poland who is specialized in brand identity, brand naming, logos and package design.
Roy Smith is also a very talented graphic designer recognized for his brand identity designs. Roy’s work is always mentioned in sites like logolounge and logopond.
Steve Jencks is a multi-talented graphic designer that has great pieces in website design, application interface design, branding and illustration. Here I will show some of his retro logos.

This is a TERRIBLE list in terms of designers. They’re all the same, and maybe only 2 out of them all are decent.

Thanks guys.
jon: Yeah I love his work actually. That would have made a nice addition.
Aaron: I actually really like the work showcased in this post and think Gisele did a great job compiling it. I guess everyone has different styles that they favor.
2tone: Yeah I see the comparison with both of those logos actually. Nice spot! I wouldn’t say that they are direct rip offs, but I like all 4 logos anyway

I honestly thought the Woodson one was WordPress at first – way too similar. I’m liking the David Airey ones. It’s always the logos with simplicity, a good typeface and the right colours that stand out for me.

I think most of the work honored here express true creativity in identity design, some seem to have just placed type next to a random icon. I believe care in choosing type treatment and juxtaposition of icon is the key to a successful mark. Good luck to all who were mentioned!
